Get Outside and Explore

Here at riptide roots, We are huge advocates of getting outside, being active, and exploring the beautiful low country. We are blessed to live in an area that allows you to explore it in as many ways as possible.
Here in Charleston, the possibilities are truly endless when it comes to outdoor adventure!
You can head to one of the many beaches along our coast (Folly, Kiawah, IOP, Sullivan’s, Edisto) to play in the waves or sunbathe in the sand.
You can hop on a boat and go to a barrier island to collect shells, dolphin and bird watch, escape the noise of the city crowds, and take in the plentiful sights such as the Morris Island Lighthouse, fort sumter, and many more
you can also hop on a boat to head into the creeks in hopes of catching a slot redfish or fat trout . or you can travel 30 miles offshore to fish on the bottom for snapper and grouper or troll topwater for Mahi and Marlin.
Exercise and explore by sitting in a kayak or standing up on a paddle board traveling through the creeks and experiencing the saltwater marsh and estuararies
in each tidal pool and tiny creek there is something new and exciting to see and learn about- so lets get out there and have some fun!
